Mass Production of Two-tone & Multi-colored Recycled Polyester Fiber Boosts Green Textile Development

A domestic new materials firm has realized large-scale production of two-tone and multi-colored recycled polyester fiber. Adopting dope-dye spinning technology, the process eliminates post-dyeing, cutting wastewater and pigment usage significantly to meet global textile low-carbon standards.
Manufactured from waste PET bottles and recycled textile scraps, the fiber achieves integrated two-tone blending and multi-color segment dyeing via modified spinning with reliable color fastness, certified by GRS. It slashes overall costs by 15% and over 3 tons carbon emission per ton fiber versus conventionally dyed recycled fiber.
The material is mass-supplied to outdoor apparel, luggage and home textile brands with rising overseas orders. Industry insiders state dope-dyed colored recycled fiber will be a key growth segment for circular textiles, delivering cost-effective carbon-neutral raw materials for brand supply chains.
